This photo is of me as a blushing bride-to-be low 9 years ago, and on a good day I still feel like I did at that age, 35. This morning I've had my walk and my breakfast of Cheerios & blueberries with Rice Dream, and I'm feeling pretty damn fine if I must say.
Being a feisty redhead has always been a BIG part of my identity. For others it may be all about being tall, athletic or beautiful. For me it has always been "you know her, the redhead". Now being a natural redhead, I can spot a dye job a mile off. There are very few of us female naturals out there, especially over the age of 40. Almost all of my friends color their hair to hide those sprouting grays. I have a few white hairs now that I'm in my forties, but luckily for me they just make my hair look kissed by the sun. I've never been one to change the color just for fun as I couldn't stand the maintenance that it demands. I'm what you'd call a low-maintenance chick. I get my hair cut 4 times a year. No perms or coloring required. I rarely even blow dry my hair unless it's late and I don't want to go out, or to bed, with my hair wet. Mostly I just throw it up in a clip when it's wet and then later in the day I'll bring it back down and shake it out and I'm all set.
Well, enough about me for today. What age do you feel? Or what can you tell me about your hair?

Well missy, you look marvelous!
I have had the same hairstyle since, way back in high school. I felt like I got it right, so why change it? (If you don't count the really bad perm I had in college..ewwww)
I have never dyed my hair but I have used henna for over 23 years, which makes my hair reddish, and I really like that. I dont know what I am going to do when I get a lot of greys, like you, i am lucky to have not gotten too many yet!
Hurray for more posts!
I've had the same hairstyle since my Navy days. Not planning on changing it anytime soon as it just seems to fit my rinse and go lifestyle. I haven't had to color my hair yet, but I have contemplated dying it blonde or red just for fun. Maybe one day.
As for clothes: shorts, please--and always. Skinny, hairy legs be damned.
